Cheap Eats in Myrtle Beach Myrtle Beach restaurants

Text 14 Jan Dead Dog Saloon-Dinner Pt. 1

One of my dad’s and my favorite place in Myrtle Beach to eat is Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet. Located right on the inlet, most of their food is caught fresh and is great. A local favorite, this stop is a must for your dinner whether you’re a local or tourist.

This visit I went a little above the budget, but since it was a father-daughter date it is to be expected. First, we started off with getting an appetizer. I have never had a bad appetizer from here and a favorite of mine is the oysters or the peel-and-eat shrimp. This time we chose the shrimp. You can choose from 1/2lb or 1lb. If you are sticking to a budget go with the 1lb shrimp. Their shrimp are huge, and 1 lb will be plenty for 2 people. The good news about the 1/2lb is that it’s only around $12.00. It’s a great appetizer to split between a group of friend or a father-daughter date.

Look how big this shrimp is !

Next we tried the soup. Considering that it’s on the inlet, we went with the she-crab soup. It’s so creamy and delicious. I love a really well made she-crab soup, nothing is better tasting to me. You can choose between a cup or bowl of soup and there are various other choices of soups.

The rest of this article will be completed with a new blog. There’s so much to talk about and so little space !
