Cheap Eats in Myrtle Beach Myrtle Beach restaurants

Text 17 Jan Dagwoods Deli, Surfside - Lunch/Dinner/Happy Hour

Dagwoods Deli in Surfside Beach is by far one of my most favorite places to get a sandwich or happy hour in Myrtle Beach. Normally, I talk about a place for one meal of the day, but Dagwoods is good for any meal at any time of the day. Also, it’s a great place for sports fans to stop by and watch their favorite game. They have so many specials always going on, it’s a great budget-friendly place.

This trip I went for Happy Hour. Some of the draft beers during their happy hour are only $1.75. This is an ideal place to get Happy Hour. Linked below is their happy hour menu.

Beer served in a nice frosty-cold glass.

Now the food portion of this blog. I think I have had every item on their regular menu at least once. Everything is great. This trip, I chose their special of the day. A swedish meatball sub. It was beyond delicious. The meatballs were covered in cheese and this delicious gravy mixture. It was a divine sandwich to eat, and all served on a nice sub roll. Also, most of their sandwiches you get a good variety of choices for sides. Their sandwiches are also huge. I can almost never finish a full sandwich in a sitting.

That is baked to perfection.

Dagwoods had two locations actually, one in Surfside and one in Myrtle Beach by the Sky Wheel. The one in Myrtle Beach is also part of Bumstead’s, which I will do another blog on later. If you are looking for a great sandwich to eat while in Myrtle Beach, Dagwood’s is definitely the place to go. Most of their sandwiches are priced under $10.00, and their drinks are also very reasonably priced. I highly suggest stopping by here and trying one of these delicious sandwiches.
